Is your setting looking for a fun and educational enrichment activity that complements the EYFS curriculum? Then look no further! A typical Melody Monkeys session will include music, movement, stories, singing, instrument play, action songs, counting, parachute activities, puppets, scarf play, bubbles, sensory activities and lights.
Sessions promote the EYFS curriculum, with activities that involve creating sounds, using rhythmic movement, counting skills and exploring rhythms to name just a few. They also help children to develop core areas such as improving their listening skills and ability to follow instructions, whilst building confidence and developing healthy peer interactions. Sessions are topic based so learning covers a huge range of areas, such as Seasons, Jungle, Nursery Rhymes, Farm, Pets, Transport, Food and Under the Sea to name just a few.
Sessions are fully tailored to the age of the children taking part and are suitable from birth to age 5. Additional specialism in working with children with special needs.
Sessions are typically around 45 minutes long. Most of our nurseries have weekly sessions but other options are available.
