SEN sessions

Sally is experienced at working with children with additional needs, as well as being mum to a wonderful autistic son! Sally has run groups in conjunction with SPACE on and off since Autumn 2017. Melody Monkeys currently doesn’t have any SPACE weekly sessions but keep your eyes on SPACE’s Facebook page for news.

Children with additional needs are always welcome at regular Melody Monkeys sessions. If you would like to come along and feel it would be helpful to discuss your child’s needs beforehand, please do feel free to get in touch first.

Parties

Looking for entertainment for your little one’s party? Worried about their or their sibling’s additional needs? We specialise in parties for 0 – 6 year olds but there is no age limit on parties for children or young people with additional needs if the party is appropriate for them. Your party host is experienced at working with children with a range of complex needs and disabilities, having worked in a special school and for the Children’s Disability Team at Hertfordshire County Council. We understand that things are more complicated when you have a child or children with additional needs and we can work together to make it right for them and you. With detailed discussion prior to the party (and even a home visit if necessary), we can ensure that you and your child/ren are comfortable and create their perfect party!

Parties usually include music, lights, sensory activities, movement, parachute activities, bubbles, instrument play, action songs, singing, puppets, dancing and more! Parties are specifically tailored for your child and their interests. Is your child crazy about a certain film? Do they love jungle animals or cars, trains and planes? Do they have a favourite song, rhyme or activity? Their likes and your needs are discussed in order to design a party perfect for you!
